Outreach's AI assistant changed names, swallowed two older features and showed up in six different months of release notes. If you've lost track of what Omni is now, this page puts all 19 updates in order and explains them without the jargon.
Each spike is a month. The taller it is, the more Outreach shipped. Tap a month to jump to it.
February laid the groundwork: a new home for every AI feature, a renamed assistant, and the first version of a company knowledge library.
"Ask Outreach" became Omni, a chat assistant inside Outreach. Ask it plain-English questions about accounts, deals, activity and call transcripts. It cites where its answers came from, can draft an email or build a table, and only shows you data you already have permission to see.

An AI agent that writes a pre-meeting brief your team can share, so nobody walks into a call cold.
Admins upload approved collateral like battlecards, case studies and decks. AI answers draw on them and list which documents they used.

Omni became available anywhere in Outreach, including mobile. It can hold several conversations, take voice input and remember what you said earlier in a chat. When it wants to create a task, update a field or add someone to a sequence, it shows you the change and waits for your OK.
Chat with Omni from the Outreach app in Slack. You can also send an account's notifications to a Slack channel set up for that account.

Admins choose which sections go into Meeting Prep Agent's brief and can preview it before rolling out. Right now Outreach allows only one Meeting Prep Agent, so design the brief with all your teams in mind.
The Personalization Agent, which drafts emails, can now draw on your Knowledge library too, using up to seven documents per response.
The month Omni absorbed Smart Account Assist and Deal Assist. If someone on your team asks where Assist went, this is the answer.
With Omni turned on and Assist turned off, Omni appears in every spot on account, prospect and opportunity pages where Assist used to be. One assistant, everywhere.

A full-page Omni for reps, and a single control panel for admins to decide which AI runs and what it costs.
Omni gets its own spot in the left menu and a full-page view. Every conversation gets a link you can share, and any record Omni mentions opens in a side panel.
One screen listing every AI feature your company has, which AI model runs it, and what it costs. Admins can turn AI off company-wide, switch features on or off one by one, limit some to certain teams, and decide whether new AI features turn on automatically.
Add a plain-language "Description for AI" to custom fields, so Omni knows that "Custom field 7" actually means "renewal risk." Salesforce-mapped fields can import their description.
Move files between folders without uploading them again, and see which AI features each folder feeds.
Two updates that make Omni safer to trust with your CRM and less repetitive to use.
Before Omni changes a prospect, account or opportunity, it shows a confirmation. If it's missing information, it asks with a short form. And a stop button halts a request mid-way and hands your prompt back so you can fix it.
Read the full Omni guide →Tell Omni to "remember" or "always" do something, like use bullet-point agendas, and it applies that in future chats. Say "forget that" to undo it.
Omni moves into shared Slack channels, and every AI agent gets a cheat sheet about your company.
A short company profile that every AI agent reads before it answers: what you sell, who you compete with, and how you sell. Write it once and stop re-explaining your company in every chat.
