In 2025 Kaia learned to share recordings safely, track products and competitors, translate calls into 28+ languages and work live inside Google Meet. Here are all 21 Kaia updates from the year.
Each spike is a month. The taller it is, the more Outreach shipped. Tap a month to jump to it.
Recording links can be open to anyone, limited to people who verify their email with a code, or restricted. Hosts can see when a link was shared and who watched it.
Read the full recording sharing guide →The automatic email you get after a meeting now opens with Kaia’s AI summary and puts next steps up front.
On Outreach Voice calls where only the seller is recorded, admins choose whether reps see the buyer’s words in the live transcript. Either way, buyer words stay out of the saved transcript and summary.
The AI summary now sits on the recording page itself, so you can see what a call covered before you press play.
May also brought Kaia’s post-call insights to calls recorded with Outreach Voice. Outreach announced that in a banner at the top of the release notes rather than as its own update, so it isn’t counted here.
Smart Topics flag when your products or competitors come up on calls and meetings, looking back 30 days and then tracking new calls.
An AI Assist icon on each recording opens a slide-out where you can ask about the call and jump to the moments that matter.
A new CRM sync object carries call and meeting summaries, recording links and details over to your CRM.
Summaries and Smart Meeting & Call Assist now work on calls and meetings held in other languages.
Translate transcripts and summaries from Outreach Voice calls and Kaia meetings. Only the person who asked for the translation sees it.
Despite the name, this is for people, not AI: threaded comments with @mentions and notifications, with no setup needed.
Content cards, live transcription, insights and action items now work during Google Meet calls.
Topics now show how many recordings and moments mention them, and whether the buyer or the seller brought them up.
Attendees, account, opportunity, topics, language and visibility columns make the right recording easier to find.
The recording page was reorganized, and summaries now include timestamps and action items.
Recordings from the Nooks dialer can be imported into Kaia for analysis. It was in beta and needs the Nooks integration.
Attendees see consent text you can edit before they join a recorded Kaia meeting.
Build your own summary templates so recaps capture what your sales process cares about. Ask your account manager for access.
Kaia’s slide-out panels now behave the same way across list views.
Recordings attach to the right account, prospect and opportunity more reliably.
People you mention or who reply are subscribed automatically, and threads gain emoji reactions and a cleaner look.
One click copies the whole transcript.
