The reporting overhaul: new team reports, revenue and your own layouts

In 2023 Outreach switched off its old activity reports and replaced them. By late 2024 the reports tied activity to revenue and let you build your own layouts.

Shipped Apr 2023 – Nov 2024 ManagersLeadersRevOps

What it actually does

Team Performance replaced the old Activity and More Reports pages in 2023, with Overview, Emails, Calls and Tasks views. Activity now counts for the person who did it, not the prospect owner. A Daily Activity view gives SDR managers near-live numbers.

In 2024 the Sales Execution report tied activity to opportunities and revenue, the Pipeline Generation report turned a pipeline goal into activity targets, and custom reporting layouts let teams arrange their own dashboards.

Who it's for

Managers and leaders read the reports. RevOps sets up revenue attribution, layouts and access.

Why it matters

You can see what activity actually produces pipeline, not just how busy people are.

How to set it up

  1. Find the reports

Click the Reports icon in the left navigation. Team Performance has Overview, Emails, Calls and Tasks; Daily Activity is in its Team menu.

  2. Set up revenue attribution

For the Sales Execution revenue view, your CRM opportunities and contact roles need to sync, and opportunity stages must be mapped one to one.

  3. Build a layout

Go to Reports › Overview. Start from a blank layout or copy Performance or Team Activity, add and arrange tiles, save, and set it as your default.

  4. Set defaults for profiles

Admins set an org default layout under Layouts in user settings, and per-profile layout options under the profile’s Sales intelligence tiles.

  5. Limit reports to teams

To show people only their own team’s numbers, tick Can only view reports associated with team membership in the profile’s Reports section.
