2023’s new Outreach: a new look and a new CRM sync for everyone
In spring 2023 every Outreach customer moved to a redesigned app at a new address and a new CRM sync. Most of it happened automatically, which is why some old settings are still sitting there.

What it actually does
The new look changed colors, fonts and navigation, moved Outreach to web.outreach.io, split settings into Personal and Administration, slimmed down Task Flow and made the Task Queue a list you can group.
At the same time Outreach replaced its old CRM sync with a guided setup for Salesforce and Dynamics. Every customer was moved across with their existing settings, and the new look only works with the new sync.
Who it's for
Everyone saw the new look. Admins and RevOps own the CRM sync.
Why it matters
Settings carried over as they were, so anything odd before 2023 is probably still odd.
How it grew, 2022–2024
FEB
Beta of the new look starts February 22; guided CRM sync announced.
MAR
Settings split into Personal and Administration; Roles renamed Governance roles.
APR
New look for everyone from April 24, with French, German and Spanish in beta.
JUN
Old CRM sync retired by June 5, according to the latest notes.
How to set it up
Nothing to switch on
The new look rolled out automatically. Old Outreach links kept working for two years, so update any bookmarks or saved links that still use the old address.
Find your settings
Your own mailboxes, signature and notifications are under your initials › Personal settings. Org settings are under Administration (the cog).
Get task groups back
The Task Queue opens as a list. Use Group by to group by account, opportunity, sequence or time zone.
Review CRM sync mappings
As an admin, open CRM Sync from Administration and check each object’s field mappings. Map a referenced field before the field that points to it, or the save is blocked.
Clean up what carried over
Look for mappings, sync rules and permissions nobody remembers setting up. They came across from the old sync exactly as they were.
