What it actually does
Carriers rate how sure they are that a call really comes from the number shown. Registering your business and a caller name with Outreach earns your US purchased numbers the highest rating, and many phones will show your company name.
In 2025 Outreach added Voice Integrity, which uses the same business profile to register your numbers with carrier spam-analytics engines. The two work together.
Who it's for
Admins set it up once. Reps get more calls answered.
Why it matters
A verified name and a better rating mean fewer “Spam Likely” labels and more connects.
How it grew, 2022–2024
AUG 24
Caller name and verified caller ID for US purchased numbers.
NOV 24
More document types accepted for international and mobile numbers.
How to set it up
Create a business profile
As an admin, go to Admin Settings › Tools › Phone numbers › Compliance & Trust and create a business profile with your legal name, address, registration and tax details, website and an authorized representative.
Wait for approval
Outreach’s phone partner reviews the profile. Plan for 48 hours or more.
Create the caller name
Click Create under Caller ID. Names can be up to 15 characters, must start with a letter, and can’t be generic.
Choose where it applies
Under Administration › Organization › Org info › Voice, apply it to all US purchased numbers or only assigned ones, and decide whether users can change their own setting.
Add Voice Integrity
If you’re on a newer release, register the same numbers for Voice Integrity under Compliance & Trust.
