In May 2025 Outreach’s AI started writing the personal part of your emails. By November it was writing LinkedIn messages, call talking points and voicemails too.

What it actually does
You create a personalization: an instruction for the AI, plus a tone and reading length. Insert it into a template, and the AI writes that part of each message using what Outreach knows about the prospect and account, outside data if you have it, and your own messaging.
Over 2025 it spread from email to LinkedIn messages, call task talking points and, with Call Agent, AI-written voicemails.
Who it's for
Reps get the output. Admins and sequence builders write the instructions.
Why it matters
Personal messages at volume, without every rep researching every prospect.
How it grew in 2025
MAY
Launch in sequences and in Gmail and Outlook templates.
JUN
AI templates can be picked from Gmail or Outlook.
AUG
LinkedIn messages and call tasks, plus tone, guardrails and more variables.
NOV
Call Agent voicemails, web search in beta, regenerate, prompt deletion and AI-or-human reporting.
How to set it up
Create a personalization
In the left navigation, go to Personalization Agents › New personalization.
Write the instruction
Name it and write the Gen AI instruction. Set reading length and tone, and optionally pick buyer data signals.
Add your messaging
Optionally turn on subject line personalization, and add up to 7 Knowledge documents or your Seller Content. Then save.
Use it in a template
In an email template, LinkedIn task or call task, click Personalization in the upper right to insert it.
Pick an AI voice for voicemails
For Call Agent, go to User Settings › Voice › Voicemail and set the personalized voicemail voice. The dialer then offers a Personalized Voicemail option.
